La FIAF ha fatto la storia della fotografia amatoriale italiana ed oggi, pilastro importante della cultura italiana ed anche internazionale, crede di potere dare molto ai propri soci in termini di sostegno, di educazione e di idee, tramite rapporti unici ed esclusivi.

Il Premio Arte Laguna vede un continuo crescendo nel corso delle edizioni, sia per quanto riguarda lo spazio riservato ai molteplici linguaggi artistici che abbracciano pittura, scultura, arte fotografica, video arte e performance, sia per l’offerta di opportunità sempre più ampia per gli artisti attraverso premi in denaro, residenze d’arte, collaborazioni con aziende, mostre personali in gallerie internazionali e partecipazioni a festival.

As a leader in capturing our world through brilliant imagery, National Geographic sets the standard for photographic excellence. This year’s entrants did not disappoint—more than 20,000 photographs were submitted to the contest from over 130 countries, with professional and amateur photographers across the globe participating. Photographs were submitted in three categories: people, places, and nature.

Inspired by the 1950s landmark photographic exhibition “The Family of Man”, M.I.L.K. began as a worldwide search to develop a collection of extraordinary and geographically diverse images portraying humanity’s “Moments of Intimacy, Laughter and Kinship” (M.I.L.K.). This search took the form of a global photographic competition in 1999.

It was not only the richest in photographic history, but also one of the most significant, drawing participation from 17,000 professional and amateur photographers in 164 countries. In total, over 40,000 images were received by M.I.L.K., including entries from at least four Pulitzer Prize winners.
